When faced with the proposition of making a bizarre appearance in the ring, Mike Tyson must have thought, “Well, it might as well be in the ring.”
In a typical pro wresting match, Tyson came up spades. With no gloves and without taking off his shirt, he knocked out his own teammate.
The appearance of Tyson at the WWE’s Raw event, in Minnesota, was a brash attempt at disputing audiences with UFC Fight Night, a show featuring fighters from the UFC reality show. “Iron” Mike, who hasn’t fought since 2005, made a pro wrestling appearance in 1998.
