There was gladiating galore this weekend on the “Aventuras do Didi” Sunday television program on Brazil’s TV Globo network. In a skit set in Imperial Rome, the gladiator Didi, played by comedian Renato Aragão, squared off with a major guest actor, UFC fighter Rodrigo Nogueira.
“This is Minotauro,” actor Dedé Santana introduced the looming presence. “A pleasure, Miniature,” joked Didi, while Mino fought not to laugh. In the end, Didi and crew paid tribute to the star of UFC Rio.
