This Thursday morning, the second day of competition at the 2011 Pan, was dominated by the masters and seniors blue belts.
Competitors from 30 to 60 years of age took the eight match areas in the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California, by storm.
Photographer Dan Rod took the chance to shoot some shots of the competitors’ devotion to the gentle art.
In 35 photos, he registered all the Jiu-Jitsu’s intensity and the characteristic joy competition among these valiant fighters brings.
