As previously reported by GRACIEMAG.com, Thiago Pitbull’s medical condition involving arterial complications in the brain required special care. The operation performed by Dr. Borhan Atassi was a success, however, and the fighter should be back in training shortly.
That being the case, there is already a likely date for the fighter’s next appointment in the UFC octagon. The bout with Jon Fitch was set for UFC 111 and was canceled, and has now been moved to June 12, at UFC 115 in Vancouver, Canada. The announcement was made by UFC president Dana White himself via Twitter.
Other MMA stars set for action on the same day are Chuck Liddell, Mirko Cro Cop, Tyson Griffin and Paulo Thiago.
