The Jiu-Jitsu World Championship kicks off this Thursday in Long Beach, and the pyramid-shaped gymnasium will be overrun with riveting matchups. Beforehand, however, some of the best Jiu-Jitsu stylists on the planet warmed up their turbines in Brazil, many of whom are sure to put on a show in California.
The folks from Brazilian television’s “Sensei Sportv” program checked it all out up close at the Tijuca Tennis Club, the very venue where the primordial world championships were held. In the videos below, check out the coverage showing some marvelous battles. Among them: Leandro Lo vs. Michael Langhi, Bruno Malfacine vs. Felipe Costa, Ricardo Evangelista vs. Antonio Peinado, Bruno Frazatto vs. Leonardo Saggioro, Ary Farias vs. Gabriel Moraes, Sérgio Moraes vs. Nivaldo de Oliveira, and Michelle Nicolini vs. Lauriane Santos.
