The Renzo Gracie No-Gi Open is offering US$ 3,000 in prize money for the brown or black belt winner of the absolute division. The event is one of the draws at the MMA World Expo to take place November 13 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. Around one thousand athletes in all age and belt divisions are expected to participate.
“All the academies are excited about being part of the MMA World Pro and having the chance to demonstrate the importance of the ground game, especially Jiu-Jitsu, in mixed martial arts,” remarks Renzo.
