Rômulo Barral got injured at the Jiu-Jitsu World Championship. On trying to escape a snug kneebar applied by Tarsis Humphreys in the medium heavyweight final, Barral felt his knee ligaments tear. Besides having to desist from the match, he was unable to make the absolute final against Roger Gracie.
Our GMA underwent surgery, but all went well and the black belt is all set to take up the recovery process.
“Thanks guys, I feel fine. Now my training will be rehabilitation. I’ll see you on the mat soon,” said Rominho to his followers on Facebook.
