Strikeforce has put together a first-ratecard for its May-15 show in St. Louis. Already guaranteed were such stars as Alistair Overeem, who defends his heavyweight belt against Brett Rogers; former UFC champion Andre Arlovski, who faces Antonio “Pezao” Silva; Ronaldo Jacare against Joey Villasenor; and Roger Gracie’s debut in the event, against Kevin Randleman.
Now the promotion has confirmed some more fighters on the card. Vtor Shaolin makes his Strikeforce debut, and Rafael Feijão is in, too.
Coming off a loss to Shinya Aoki, Shaolin has not fought since July of 2009. He will face Lyle Beerbohm, who is undefeated in his 13-fight career.
“I’ve been training and I’m motivated to return to fighting regularly,” said Shaolin.
Now Rafael Feijão will have Antwain Britt ahead of him. Should he win, Feijão will move closer to the end of the line of challengers to King Mo’s middleweight belt.
