On October 8th, GMA member school Spa City Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu celebrated the official Grand Opening of its’ new academy in Malta NY.
On hand to oversee the ceremonies and teach some cutting edge Jiu-Jitsu was Professor Ricardo Almeida, head of the RABJJ association.
Also making the trip were fellow GMA members Steve Bongiorno (South Jersey BJJ) and Bruno Tostes (Renzo Gracie Latham).
To kick things off, Spa City promoted 4 students to purple belt.
Also stepping up the ranks were professor Chad Beatty who received his second stripe on his black belt and professor Bob Dashnow who received his first strip on his black belt.
