The 2017 Pan is already looking to be one of the biggest tournaments of the year. With the registration window still open for another month, there are some big names already signed up in the black belt divisions — Gianni Grippo, Alexander Trans, Rodrigo Freitas, Manuel Diaz, Vinny Magalhaes, Ricardo Evangelista, Nicholas Meregali, Tanner Rice and Eliot Kelly to name a few.
It will be interesting to see how fresh black belts like Nicholas Meregali will fare up against a more seasoned competitor like Tanner Rice, as they are both registered in the Black Adult Male Heavy division.
The Black Adult Male Ultra-Heavy division is shaping up to have some epic matches, with Vinny Magalhaes, Ricardo Evangelista and Alexander Trans all registered.
