Today we bring you GFTeam’s Alex Souto Maior, who has a PhD in physiology and a master’s degree in biomedical engineering, teaching three simple exercises particularly useful to BJJ fighters wishing to strengthen their abs and lumbar region.
For each exercise, Alex’s recommendation is the same: do three or four sets of the maximum number of repetitions you can do until the discomfort sets in, with breaks of between one and one and a half minute. In the final exercise, your goal is to hold the position for three to five seconds.
