It sounds like a joke, but heavyweights David “Tank Abbott” and Scott Ferrozzo have a rematch scheduled for October 30, according to our collaborator Junior Samurai.
The veterans will square off as a remembrance of their classic 1996 showdown at UFC 11, and the setting for the encounter couldn’t be more fitting for the barfly Abbott, who hasn’t fought since 2009: a strip bar in Dayton, Ohio. The fight contract has been signed and, according to the bar’s owner, it will be broadcast live over the internet.
