Rogério Minotouro hasn’t changed even after losing his last two outings. Rodrigo Minotauro’s twin remains confident he can knock Tito Ortiz out when they lock horns this Saturday at UFC 140.
“I’ve been doing intense boxing training. My hands are quick. Dórea was really pleased with yesterday’s training session, saying I’m managing to maintain my punching power all the way to the end, mainly when we train grappling and the arms get heavy. I managed to keep up my power and speed till the end, so it’s very likely there’ll be a knockout in this fight. But Tito Ortiz is tough, has a hard head. We’ll see what happens, if the knockout really comes about. What I want is to keep the fight standing and knock him out,” he said last Wednesday.
That will be another challenge for Minotouro, since the “Bad Boy” of old has suffered nine losses throughout his career and only three have come by way of technical knockout. Now Rogério is one of the few to have a submission win over Dan Henderson to brag of.
What do you think, dear reader, could Minotouro really come up with the knockout against Tito Ortiz? Who agrees with him?
