The UFC crowned a new champion this Saturday, Dec. 6.
After five tough rounds in the main event of UFC 181, Robbie Lawler was appointed by two of the three judges as the new welterweight belt holder.
As their first encounter, thos Saturday’s fight was close with both fighters connecting powerful shots.
Lawler started out better, but Hendricks dominated rounds 2 and 3.
Lawler stepped on the gas on round 4 and finished off strong on Round 5, ending the fight clearly in a superior fashion.
