It won’t be any time soon that Ronaldo Jacaré and Luke Rockhold will meet inside the cage. The initial main event of the Nov. 26 UFC installment in Australia, their rematch is now cancelled due to Rockhold having injured his knee. Website MMA Fighting broke the news.
A serious contender for the belt, to whom the organization had promised a fight with Bisping in the event of a win, it’s unlikely that Jacaré will get a replacement opponent for Melbourne, so the Brazilian will probably sit this one out.
Gilberto Faria, Jacaré’s manager, told MMA Fighting that Bisping is afraid of Jacaré and wanted to fight bantamweight Dominick Cruz instead of the Brazilian middleweight.
