The main event of UFC Hamburg, held Saturday the 3rd in the German town, was breathtaking. In the duel between veteran heavyweight Josh Barnett and Andrei Arlovski, as was expected, hard blows were almost decisive, but in the end BJJ stole the show.
After trading strikes intensely for the first few minutes, with knockdowns galore, Barnett used his grapping technique, caught Arlovski in a kimura hold while standing, and rolled back with the takedown. On top, on the ground, he mounted and threw punches; Arlovski turned his back and wound up victim to a hand-to-hand choke.
