Brian Ortega’s guillotine in the main event wasn’t the only refined BJJ move last night at UFC Fresno. Davi Ramos, an ADCC world champion and now a UFC lightweight, faced Chris Gruetzemacher. After two level rounds, Ramos came back for round 3 with some irresistible grappling.
After getting behind Gruetzemacher as they were standing, Ramos employed a takedown and quickly seized the back, finishing with a rear naked choke. The adjustment was made during the motion, barely giving Gruetzemacher any time to tap out. You can watch it play out here:
