This Friday will go down in the history of BJJ and MMA. At 51 years of age, Renzo Gracie returned to the inside of a cage to fight with gloves on. The event chosen was ONE Champioship: Reign of Kings, and the king of BJJ proved again the efficiency of the gentle art.
The match with Yuki Kondo, a Japanese fighter with over a hundred fights under his belt, was intense. After a first round of lots of studying, with better attacks by Kondo and some counters by Renzo, round two would decide matters.
After starting out the round by moving more, Renzo attacked via single-leg and came up to the back. With the hook, he unbalanced Kondo, arrived on the ground and attacked via rear naked choke.
