William sweeps and finishes.
Last weekend the IBJJF landed in Australia to host the Sydney Open. William Dias of Nova União stood out by winning gold in both the medium heavy and absolute divisions.
In both finals, William beat Renato Silva (Southside BJJ), and in each case, victory came by armbar.
In the medium heavyweight final, William swept and got the finish all within the first minute. In the open division, he had to take the back, maneuver on top and then catch the arm.
