With a berth in the August 13 Strikeforce female grand prix to take place in Phoenix, Arizona, Carina Damm may end up sitting this one out.
According to the event’s organizers, the Brazilian ran into troubles in getting her US visa. The organization has given its full support to the fighter in settling her bureaucratic issues, but no outcome has been reached.
Should Carina be unable to come up with a visa in time, Strikeforce already has a substitute in line to take her place.
