Vitor Shaolin and Fernando Tererê will be face to face 15 years after the last duel between them, held in the Worlds 2001 at the middleweight division and won on points by Shaolin. The reissue of one of the great classics in Jiu-Jitsu history will happen at Polaris 4, which is scheduled to take place on October 29 in Poole, England.
Shaolin, black belt under by André Pederneiras, is a three-time world champion and comes from a victory in the World Master Championship, which took place in August. Tererê, a black belt under Gigi Paiva, is a two-time middleweight world champion and is coming back to fight after a long time of inactivity.
This will be a 15-minute gi match under professional BJJ rules.
