The top of the card of superfights for Gracie Pro 2018 has undergone a last-minute shake-up. Sergio Moraes is Gilbert Durinho’s new opponent in the main fight. The São Paulo native is replacing Clark Gracie, who was forced to leave by a minor knee injury. Gracie Pro 2018 will take place September. 29–30, with the final day receiving the superfights, and will be held at the Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro. With the change, the main fight will pit two world BJJ champions against each other who are also Brazilian representatives in the UFC. The match will run 15 minutes, with the weight limit set at 82.3kg, and IBJJF rules.
The co-main fight sees the return of a legend. A world champion in 2000 and 2003, Fernando Tererê will take on 2007 European champion Raphael Abi-Rihan, who won a world masters title as recently as 2016. This is an eight-minute match with an 86kg weight limit.
